Sample Donation Letter

Dear XXXX,

This June I will be participating in Jett Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Challenge. While I am personally excited to participate in this event, I am racing for a reason greater than being active . I have committed to move my muscles on behalf of the thousands of youth and families supported by Jett Foundation.

Jett Foundation provides services and programs to people affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular disorders. Born healthy, kids with Duchenne lose the ability to walk by the time they are in high school and, sadly, often succumb to the disease in their late 20s. There is currently no cure for Duchenne.

My goal is to raise $XXXX to support the programs and services offered to the youth and families Jett Foundation serves in the United States. This funding provides the necessary resources to:

  • Provide nearly 200 youth and young adults a week of summer camp
  • Provide educational Family Workshops throughout the country
  • Gift vans, stair lifts, and other unaffordable items to families through the Jett Giving Fund

These are just some of the ways Jett Foundation will be able to use the $XXXX I am planning to raise. You can visit the donation link HERE or send a check to the Jett Foundation office with my name on the memo line. Every dollar raised fuels my motivation to train harder – all on behalf of young people who wish they could have this experience too.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
